Online Star Registry: Give the gift of a star ... a neat and novel gift for the person who has everything. The recipient will receive a certificate showing "the coordinates" of the star which has been named after them, a star map to show where the star is located in space, and a high-gloss book of stars with photos taken by the Hubble Telescope. Not really scientific and a real star doesn't really get named after anyone ... but it's fun. Fun and novel enough that people have been giving "the gift of a star" for almost 35 years!
